أحرار الشرقية ترفض مشاركة القوات الأمريكية القتال في ريف حلب

انسحب تجمع أحرار الشرقية من معركة درع الفرات بريف حلب الشمالي بعد دخول مقاتلين أمريكيين عددهم 25 جندي بالإضافة الى ضابط ومهمتهم تحديد المواقع للطيران والإشراف على العمليات من الأرض.

ورفض القتال بجانب تلك القوات في محاربة تنظيم الدولة مرجعين ذلك لمشاركة القوات الأمريكية القتال إلى جانب قوات حزب ال PKK الإنفصالي ومساندتهم له،

وتبعه انسحاب العديد من الفصائل المشاركة بعملية درع الفرات وهي:

– حركة نور الدين الزنكي

– الفرقة الشمالية

– الفوج الخامس

– الفوج الأول

– حركة أحرار الشام

– صقور الجبل

مما اضطر القوات الأمريكية للخروج من بلدة الراعي والتوجه إلى الحدود التركية برفقة سيارات من فرقة الحمزة كحماية لهم بعد مظاهرة عارمة قادها مقاتلون أحرار الشرقية في المنطقة.
